I have deleted ALL of my previous uploads due to art theft concerns. Originally I was going to just deactivate this account but I think DA has its purposes. I may re-upload previous images but at a lower resolutions so people can still see the work. 

On May 2nd for Free Comic Book Day. I will be at the Comic Bug's event called Free Comic-Con Day at the Culver City Teen Center. Located at

They'll have over 40 comic book industry professionals as well as many artists like myself attending. Also cosplayers and just about anything else most conventions have. Entry is free and they'll be giving away TONS of free comic books as well. Check it out if you get a chance.

Just so everyone knows, I hardly come to DA anymore. So if you send me a message/note. It may take a long time before I even see it and respond. Its not that I'm ignoring your notes/messages. But rather that I rarely come to DA now. I mostly just post my new stuff on my FB page at www.facebook.com/theartoflakli…

So I haven't used DA in awhile. I actually considered to just not use it anymore. Since its pretty much a hotspot for art theft. I decided that I'll continue to use it but just post lower rez images.

I noticed I've gained a few watchers during my absence. I thank you for liking my work enough to become a watcher. Much appreciate it. I've been working on several sketch card projects from various companies during my absence from here. The latest would be Marvel Universe 2014 sketch card set which will be released next month on 3/26/14. So if you're into sketch cards and would like a chance to pull one of my cards from that set, it'll be out next late next month. I'm also working on commissions from people who have been patiently waiting for me to go down the waiting list. I think I might work on cleaning up my gallery to get rid of a few old stuff and updating it with new art not yet posted here. I'm gonna probably have to relearn to link people's avatar again too.

Chinese New Years just happened recently ( year of the Horse ) So lately I've been busy performing the Traditional Chinese Lion Dance in the Asian communities. Also one of our last shows was for the LA City Council in the LA City hall. We still got a few shows in the coming months though. If anyone is in the LA area and would like an opportunity to learn kung fu and lion dancing, feel free to contact me. Just remember like almost everything else, how good you can be depends on how much time and effort YOU put into it. Lessons also happens to be FREE. We are based in LA Chinatown.

Just recently finished doing a show at the Long Beach Comic and Horror - Con this past weekend. Had a great time and met lots of cool people as well as seeing old friends. Networked a bit and hopefully that will result in new projects for me. My website is still not up an running yet. Wish I had someone to actually help me with that lol. I'm pretty much done with official sketch card work for awhile. As I concentrate on getting my own creator owned project going. Pretty excited about that. Still plotting stuff for it. I'll have some cool pictures from the con posted soon.
